Group Lessons
Repertory Building, How To Audition and Performance Workshop(s) A two and one half hour class, designed for singers who wish to build repertory in preparation for performance and auditions. The class will encourage singers to explore various genres of vocal music, appropriate to their level, vocal capabilities and musical temperament. Entrance to the class is by audition.
Adult Vocal Ensemble For singers who are in training and wish to sing two- and three-part repertory of various genres. Some vocal technique will be presented in this environment. Students will be introduced to the elements of correct singing during a warm up. Students enrolled in private Adult voice Training usually participate in this experience. One and three quarter hours.
Acting Class For singers, based on the Stanislavsky Method, derived from my work with Lee Strasberg among others. It's very useful for singing actors. Relaxation, improvisation and scene work is done in conjunction with scriptural and vocal material.
Solfeggio A 50-minute class dedicated to exercises in sight-reading and ear training.

How to Read Music Learn how to read music over the course of 8 weeks. The class comprises the fundamentals of music including vocabulary, notation, rhythm, pitch discrimination, intervals, sight singing and ear training (the fixed DO) and exercises in simple melodies and harmonies.
Materials: Feldstein workbook and several handouts.
Vocal Ensemble/Singing Class for Young People ages 11-14 - (Older or younger will be assessed for placement.] 1.25 hrs.
The
class will include the fundamentals of correct singing through
breathing, vocal, ear training, sight singing exercises, repertory
building and performance practices. The class is recommended in
combination with a 30 minute private voice lesson per week. Materials:
three ring binders, solfeggio books, and indexes.
